This experience has been curated with parents in mind.

The itinerary includes 4 outdoor family meals including wine and beer at dinner, Saturday evening live music, Sunday morning yoga, and 7 hours of Wyldflower Kids Club for children aged 2+. (Parents with younger children can choose the optional private childcare)

Preschool teachers in Santa Monica have been hand selected to oversee the games and activities of Wyldflower Kids, an on-site supervised kids club with enriching and social experiences for the little Wyldflowers in our lives

In case you’re not used to free time…

Here are some ideas of how to spend those 7 hours: Catch up on sleep, take a yoga class, relax at the spa and pool at the neighboring Fess Parker Hotel, walk to any of the nearby 12 tasting rooms, go on a hike, try horseback riding, or crack open that book you’ve been wanting to read.

Once a stagecoach stop pioneered by the Swiss-American Felix Mattei during the late 19th century, and a social center frequented by the likes of Bing Crosby and Clark Gable, Mattei’s Tavern (pronounced Matty’s) is now one of the most familiar historic sites in the Santa Ynez Valley. Its romantic heritage is revealed through the gabled buildings and pastoral surroundings, and its old-world charm is palpable.

The property has served as a gathering place, bringing together loved ones and strangers alike, ever since. For over 125 years, The Bungalows have provided sanctuary for those seeking the tranquility and adventure of California’s Central Coast.

The Tavern at Mattei’s is currently under renovation and not open, but there are plenty of restaurants and tasting rooms all within walking distance in addition to the on-site catered meals.

Fireplaces, lux living spaces and kitchens, fire pits, live music, outdoor pizza oven,
and expansive grass for children to run and play, all while walkable to restaurants and
12 tasting rooms in Los Olivos.

The Hartley House at Mattei’s Tavern is the oldest home in Los Olivos and a charming 2-bedroom historical bungalow. The Cook family will reside on the first floor leaving the entire private loft available to your family.
